2、属亚热带季风气候区，北回归线穿境而过，年平均气温22.9℃，年平均日照201天，年平均日照1609.2小时，光照充足，年降雨1100~1700mm,雨量充沛，夏季炎热多雨，无霜期长，有效积温高，纬度适宜沃柑栽培。
3、土壤pH值为5.5~7之间，土壤中有机质含量大于2.5%，富含硒元素，土壤松软透气，排水良好。
4、沃柑种植面积广，占全国五分之一，配套产业链齐全，有冷链物流，仓储加工、深加工等产业链。

1、正宗的武鸣沃柑外观光滑、色泽明亮，通常呈现高饱和的橙红色。
2、武鸣沃柑的糖度比一般的沃柑要更甜，糖度可达18度，普通沃柑糖度只有10~13，所以可以通过糖度来区分。
3、新鲜的武鸣沃柑表皮应光滑、色泽明亮、无斑点。如果果皮色泽暗沉，通常表示新鲜度不够或已过熟。
4、轻压沃柑，弹性好的沃柑水分充足，口感好，果肉紧密。如果果实质量减轻、果皮果肉出现分离，果实可能会出现果汁减少、营养物质含量和口感降低等枯水、粒化现象。
