凡是看见我就拜我的人，或者听到我的声音就来求我的人，都是执迷于表相，是邪道，永远都见不到如来。

很多人烧了很多香，拜了很多庙，但是心不能成，也只是惘然。

Many people burn a lot of incense and worship many temples, but their hearts cannot be fulfilled, and it is only a sense of confusion.

如果内心有如来（开悟），那么你随时可以见到。

If there is enlightenment within, then you can see it at any time.

相反，如果内心没有如来（不开悟），只是外求，必然不能灵验。

On the contrary, if there is no Tathagata (non enlightenment) in the heart and only external seeking, it will inevitably not be effective.

人要向内求，向外修。

People should seek internally and cultivate externally.

所谓向内求，就是当我们有所求的时候，要明白在关键时刻，只有自己才能救自己，只有自己才能给自己答案。

The so-called seeking inward means that when we have something to ask for, we must understand that at critical moments, only ourselves can save ourselves, and only ourselves can give ourselves answers.

别人只能给自己一个指点或者启示。

Others can only give themselves guidance or inspiration.

所谓向外修，就是当我们想修行提升的时候，要借助他人才能修自己。

The so-called outward cultivation means that when we want to practice and improve, we need to rely on others to cultivate ourselves.

而不是把自己关闭起来，不问人事。

Instead of shutting oneself down and ignoring personnel matters.
