第十届尼山世界文明论坛:黎红雷:企业儒学对儒家经典的传承创新

2024年7月10日,由中华人民共和国文化和旅游部、国务院侨务办公室、中国社会科学院、国际儒学联合会、山东省人民政府联合主办的“第十届尼山世界文明论坛”,在山东济宁曲阜尼山讲堂隆重开幕。

黎红雷教授演讲

全国新儒商团体联席会议秘书长兼全国企业儒学团体联席会议秘书长、中山大学黎红雷教授应邀发表题为《企业儒学对儒家经典的传承与创新》的演讲,并与来自海内外的学者进行对话。

黎红雷教授指出,企业儒学是当代儒学发展的一个新领域,它将博大精深的儒家文明转化为生机勃勃的当代新商业文明,是现代化进程中文明传承与创新的鲜活样板。

演讲现场

1.企业儒学对《论语》的传承与创新。例如,《论语》主张“仁者爱人”,孟子进一步阐发:“亲亲而仁民,仁民而爱物。”受此启发,企业儒学指导企业家,以“亲亲”即像对待亲人一样亲爱企业的员工,从而构建企业命运共同体;以“仁民”即像对待同胞兄弟姐妹一样仁爱社会大众,从而构建社会命运共同体;以“爱物”即像对待亲密伙伴一样关爱自然万物,从而构建自然命运共同体。

2.企业儒学对《孟子》的传承与创新。例如,《孟子》上说:“民为贵,社稷次之,君为轻。”对于企业家来说,员工是企业最宝贵的资源,必须真心呵护;客户是企业的“衣食父母”,必须诚心服务。只有赢得员工和客户的人心,才能赢得企业的“天下”。

3.企业儒学对《大学》的传承与创新。例如,儒家经典《大学》上说:“财聚则民散,财散则民聚。”当代新儒商借鉴晋商的做法,在企业中推行人力入股,分配企业的利润,拥有身股而参与利润分配的人员,包括高层管理人员和普通员工,极大地增强了企业的凝聚力。

4.企业儒学对《中庸》的传承与创新。例如,《中庸》上说:“中庸其至矣乎。”当代新儒商提出企业治理的“灰度哲学”:要发展,但要均衡发展;要创新,但不盲目创新;要变革,但要有平常心;要竞争,但也要合作共赢。

5.企业儒学对《诗经》的传承与创新。例如,《诗经》上说:“穆穆鲁侯,敬明其德。敬慎威仪,维民之则。”在企业儒学看来,中国文化的内涵就是一个“德”字。以德为根本,每个人都会严格要求自己。领导者以德平天下人心,大家就会无怨无悔地跟着你走。

6.企业儒学对《尚书》的传承与创新。例如,《尚书》上说:“协和万邦”。受此启发,企业协调各利益相关方的关系,兼顾各方的利益,满足各方的需求,从而获得企业生存与发展的助力与合力。

7.企业儒学对《礼记》的传承与创新。例如,《礼记》上说:“建国君民,教学为先。”当代新儒商在企业内部创办“企业书院”,积极推行道德教化。企业不仅仅只是提供员工一个工作岗位和工资,更重要的是要给员工营造一个学习成长的环境。

8.企业儒学对《周易》的传承与创新。例如,《周易》上说:“唯变所适。”受此启发,当代新儒商致力于成为“时代的企业”,随着时代变化而不断变化。一个企业不变的追求,就是不断变化,成为“时代的企业”。

9.企业儒学对《春秋》的传承与创新。例如,《春秋左传》上说:“义以生利,利以平民”。受此启发,当代新儒商把经商办企业作为精神价值之“义”创造物质价值之“利”的过程,因而理直气壮地经营谋利,造福社会。

黎红雷教授最后指出:企业儒学对儒家经典的传承与创新,为儒家思想在企业实现创造性转化,为企业理论在中国推进创新性发展,为当代世界新商业文明提供中国方案,为中华民族现代文明谱写工商文明篇章,具有重要的理论价值和实践意义。

Corporate Confucianism's Inheritance and Innovation of Confucian Classics

Enterprise Confucianism is a new field in the development of contemporary Confucianism, which transforms the profound and extensive Confucian civilization into a vibrant contemporary new commercial civilization. It is a vivid model for the inheritance and innovation of civilization in the process of modernization.

1.Corporate Confucianism's Inheritance and Innovation of the Analects.The Analects advocates that "benevolent people love others". Mencius further elaborated: "Kissing the people, loving the people, and loving things." Enterprise Confucianism guides entrepreneurs to treat their employees with "kinship", which means loving them like family members, thus building a community with a shared future for the enterprise; "Benevolence to the people" means loving the public like treating fellow brothers and sisters, so as to build a community with a shared future; To love things is to care for all things in nature like treating intimate partners, thus building a community with a shared future for nature.

2.Corporate Confucianism's Inheritance and Innovation of Mencius .Mencius pointed out that "the people are precious, followed by the state, and the ruler is light." For entrepreneurs, employees are the most precious resource of the enterprise and must be sincerely cared for; Customers are the "food and clothing parents" of enterprises, and must provide sincere service. Only by winning the hearts of employees and customers can we win the "world" of the enterprise.

3.Corporate Confucianism's Inheritance and Innovation of "The Great Learning". The Confucianic "The Great Learning" points out that "when wealth is gathered, the people are scattered, and when wealth is scattered, the people are gathered." Contemporary new Confucian entrepreneurs draw inspiration from the practices of the Jin merchants and promote human capital investment in enterprises, distributing profits. The personnel who own shares and participate in profit distribution, including senior management and general employees, greatly enhance the cohesion of the enterprise.

4.Corporate Confucianism's Inheritance and Innovation of the Doctrine of the Mean. The Doctrine of the Mean regards "the Doctrine of the Mean" as the highest philosophical category. Corporate Confucianism proposes a "grayscale philosophy" of corporate governance: to develop, but to achieve balanced development; To innovate, but not blindly innovate; To change, but to have a calm mind; To compete, but also to cooperate for mutual benefit.

5.Corporate Confucianism's Inheritance and Innovation of the Book of Songs. The Book of Songs points out: "Marquis Mu Mulu, respect his virtues, respect his dignity, and uphold the principles of the people." In the view of enterprise Confucianism, the connotation of Chinese culture is a word for "virtue". Taking virtue as the foundation, everyone will strictly demand themselves. If a leader calms the hearts of employees with virtue, everyone will follow you without complaint or regret.

6.Corporate Confucianism's Inheritance and Innovation of the Book of Documents. The Book of Documents proposes: "Harmony among all nations.". Inspired by this, enterprises coordinate the relationships of various stakeholders, balance the interests of all parties, meet the needs of all parties, and thus obtain assistance and motivation for the survival and development of the enterprise.

7.Corporate Confucianism's Inheritance and Innovation of the Book of Rites. The Book of Rites points out that "in order to establish a nation and govern the people, teaching is the first priority." Contemporary new Confucian merchants have established "enterprise academies" within enterprises and actively promoted moral education. Enterprises not only provide employees with a job position and salary, but more importantly, they should create an environment for employees to learn and grow.

8.Corporate Confucianism's Inheritance and Innovation of the Book of Changes. The Book of Changes points out that "only change is suitable." Inspired by this, contemporary new Confucian business enterprises are committed to becoming "enterprises of the times," constantly changing with the changes of the times. The unchanging pursuit of an enterprise is to constantly change and become the "enterprise of the times".

9.Corporate Confucianism's Inheritance and Innovation of "Spring and Autumn Annals".The Spring and Autumn Annals of Zuo Zhuan pointed out that "righteousness generates benefits, and benefits the common people.". Inspired by this, contemporary new Confucian entrepreneurs regard running a business as a process of spiritual value and creating material value, and therefore confidently manage for profit, benefiting society.

The inheritance and innovation of Confucianics by enterprise Confucianism has important theoretical value and practical significance in achieving creative transformation of Confucian ideas in enterprises, promoting innovative development of enterprise theory in China, providing Chinese solutions for the contemporary world's new business civilization, and composing a chapter of business civilization for the modern civilization of the Chinese nation.
