前 言Preface
相对于其他绘画类型而言，抽象艺术的表达一定是创作者内心的真实呈现，这是永恒的、普遍的，不受时间、空间、语言或文化的限制。内心情感的寄托和释放，成就了一幅幅色彩多样、形态多样的艺术作品。欣赏抽象艺术更多的是需要一种代入感和视觉冲击，这种感受不一定是创作者想表达的，但一定是观者自己的体会或者回味，这就是抽象艺术的奇妙之处，你可能不清楚画的是什么，但你总会从中找到自己，用心交流，且又纯粹。
定位或评价一个抽象艺术家，深厚的艺术素养、独特鲜明的艺术形式不可或缺，但内心的纯洁与坚守才是真正的力量之源，当内心世界得以自由释放的时候，抽象艺术的创作才会不囿于形式、技法上的限制，创造出无限可能。一个内心丰裕的抽象艺术家，一定是享受艺术、享受生活的，这是相辅相成、互为因果的。“人的一生可能燃烧，也可能腐朽，我不能腐朽，我愿意燃烧。”奥斯特洛夫斯基的名言非常符合抽象艺术家的精神需求，始终保持向上向好、乐观热爱的态度，创作出来的作品才会注入博爱的情怀，具有强烈的社会属性，真正变“个人的”为“大家的”。
任何时代都会产生无数的艺术作品，但只有那些能够切合人类情感、时代精神的作品，才会让人回味无穷。究其根本，创作者的心境、态度决定着作品的未来。就如格林伯格所认为的那样，“抽象艺术是人类思维或者再现能力进化的标志”。一件成功的抽象艺术作品，在抓住受众眼睛的同时，又向受众传达出很深的观念，让观者可以在抽象艺术作品既体会到纯粹的画面，又可以深入画面去看到不一样的精神世界。此次展出的54位艺术家的107件抽象作品，风格迥异，印象有别，有如不同产地、不同年份、不同手法的百种佳酿，观感、入口、回味各有千秋，值得细细品味！

Compared with other painting types, the expression of abstract art must be the true presentation of the creator's heart, which is eternal and universal, and is not limited by time, space, language or culture. The sustenance and release of inner emotions have resulted in a variety of artistic works of various colors and forms. Appreciating abstract art requires more of a sense of substitution and visual impact, which is not necessarily what the creator wants to express, but must be the viewer's own experience or aftertaste. This is the magic of abstract art. You may not know what you are painting, but you will always find yourself in it, communicate with your heart, and it is pure.
To define or evaluate an abstract artist, profound artistic accomplishment and unique artistic form are indispensable, but inner purity and persistence are the real source of power. When the inner world is released freely, the creation of abstract art will not be limited by the limitations of forms and techniques, and create infinite possibilities. An abstract artist with a rich heart must enjoy art and life, which complement and cause each other. "People's life may burn or decay, I can not decay, I am willing to burn." Ostrovsky's famous words are very much in line with the spiritual needs of abstract artists. Only by maintaining an upward, optimistic and loving attitude, can the works created be infused with feelings of universal love, have strong social attributes, and truly transform "individual" into "everyone".
Any era will produce countless works of art, but only those that can fit in with human emotions, the spirit of The Times, will be memorable. Ultimately, the mood and attitude of the creator determine the future of the work. As Greenberg argues, "abstract art is a sign of the evolution of human thinking or representation." A successful abstract art work not only captures the audience's eyes, but also conveys a deep concept to the audience, so that the audience can experience the pure picture in the abstract art work, but also can see the different spiritual world in the picture. The exhibition of 54 artists of 107 abstract works, different styles, different impressions, like different origin, different years, different techniques of 100 kinds of wine, the appearance, entrance, aftertaste of each have a unique, worth savoring!

Sergiu Roman was born in Iasi, Romania, in 1977. He started making oil paintings at the age of 13, but later he became attracted by philosophical ideas. In 2003 he received the Bachelor Degree in Philosophy and Logic. In 2011 he moved to Shanghai, China, where he resumed his artistic activity.
