当你想用英语表达
一件事情非常有趣，
你是不是第一时间就会想到
“Very funny”
但其实这么说超级没礼貌，
还很容易让Native speaker误会…
Very funny
在口语中，它并不是单纯表达很有趣，而是有“呵呵哒、你可真逗、得了吧、拉倒吧”的意思。
先看看下面两个例子：
- I'll give your money back tomorrow!
我明天就还你钱！
- Very funny. I have to get my money back now!
呵呵，拉倒吧，我现在就要！
- Sorry I'm late. My car broke down half way here.
对不起我迟到了，我的车半路上坏了。
- Very funny. Tell me another!
得了吧，我才不信呢。
通过上面的两个例子我们能看出来，Very funny在口语中常常是带有讽刺、反语的意思。所以，“Very funny”不能随便说，如果跟对方不熟，真的会超级尴尬。
“有趣”英语怎么说？
那么，形容一个人或者一件事很搞笑，除了Funny，还能用什么词呢？

例句：
His humorous words lightened the tense atmosphere.

His remarks participated of the sense of humor.

逗人发笑的;好笑的;有趣的
例句：
The book is full of amusing stories about his childhood.
这本书里全是一些他童年的趣事。
Funny business
这两个词大家应该都非常熟悉，Funny滑稽可笑的，Business事情，生意。连起来，Funny business, 意思却来了个180度大转弯，指的是非法的，或者不合道德的。
例句：
After seeing people coming and going from the neighbor's house, I began to suspect there was some funny business taking place.
看到我邻居家老是有人进进出处，我开始怀疑他们在进行什么非法交易。
