张掖丹霞国家地质公园位于祁连山北麓临泽、肃南县境内，以地貌色彩艳丽、层理交错、气势磅礴、场面壮观而称奇，是另一种地貌类型——彩色丘陵，色彩缤纷、观赏性强。

The Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park is located at the northern foot of the Qilian Mountains, spanning Linze and Sunan counties. Known for its stunning and colorful hills, intricate layering, and grandeur, it showcases a unique type of landform – the colorful hills, which are known for their vibrant hues and spectacular appearance.

景区主要有四个观景台，其中最美的是七彩云海台，七彩云海台的地貌是喜马拉雅造山运动，是由地层抬升程度不一致产生的断裂及褶皱。

The park features four main viewing platforms, with the most beautiful one being the Rainbow Terrace. The geological formations on this terrace were created by the uneven uplift of rock layers and subsequent faulting and folding during the Himalayan orogeny.

登台观景仿佛置身云海仙境，移步换景，呈现出大扇贝、众僧拜佛、灵猴观海等壮观景象。

Standing on the viewing platform feels like being in a fairyland surrounded by clouds, and the scenery changes with every step, revealing magnificent sights like a giant seashell, monks paying homage, and a wise monkey overlooking the sea.
