蒲江丑柑又名“不知火”、“凸顶柑”、“丑桔”、“丑八怪”等。种植历史悠久,最早可追溯到1000多年前的晋朝。
2000年,蒲江丑柑引入蒲江县大量种植。

蒲江县位于四川盆地的西侧,属于亚热带湿润气候区,冬季气温较高,冬季风影响小,这使得丑橘能够在树上留果至第二年春季,延长了生长期,从而积累了更多的营养成分。此外,蒲江县地处盆地与山区的过渡地带,降水较多,云雾多,光照弱,气温日较差小,这些条件都有利于丑橘的生长和果实的品质提升。
Pujiang County is located on the west side of the Sichuan Basin and belongs to the subtropical humid climate zone. The winter temperature is relatively high, and the influence of winter monsoon is small. This allows the ugly orange to stay on the tree until the following spring, prolonging the growth period and accumulating more nutrients. 2、新鲜的蒲江丑橘果梗应为青白色,如果果梗呈黑灰或黑白色,则表示丑橘已经存放了很长时间,口感可能不佳。果梗带着叶子且青白,说明采摘时间不久,汁水充足。
3、果蒂较小的蒲江丑橘,剥开后里面的白色筋络较少,吃起来口感更好。反之,果蒂较大的丑橘,筋络较多,吃起来较为麻烦且影响口感。
4、选择表面有光泽且光滑的丑橘,避免有凹陷、裂纹或斑点的果皮。优质丑橘的果皮颜色应明亮橙色或橙黄色。
5、轻轻按压丑橘果皮,优质的丑橘应有一定的弹性,但不至于过硬。同时,选择相对较重的丑橘,因为它的水分更充足,口感更好。
