In October 11, 2024, the Exit and Entry Administration Bureau of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau issued a notice regarding the change of email address for handling the birth registration of foreign newborns.

2024年10月11日，北京市公安局出入境管理局发布了关于变更处理外籍新生儿出生登记的电子邮件地址的通知。

The new email address for online applications for foreigner visas and residence permits in Beijing is: bjcrj-wq@nia.gov.cn.

北京外国人签证和居留许可的在线申请新电子邮件地址是：bjcrj-wq@nia.gov.cn。

The old email address will no longer be used after October 31, 2024.

旧的电子邮件地址在2024年10月31日之后将不再使用。

To facilitate foreign applicants, since June 2024, the Exit and Entry Administration Bureau of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau has opened online services for foreign newborns to apply for residence permits without the need for on-site processing.

为了便利外国申请人，自2024年6月起，北京市公安局出入境管理局已为外籍新生儿开通了在线申请居留许可的服务，无需现场办理。

The specific procedure is as follows:

具体流程如下：

1.Prepare materials: Parents or agents of foreign infants should scan the information page of passports or other international travel documents, the page of valid visa documents, and the birth certificate of the foreign infant.

1.准备材料：外籍婴儿的父母或代理人应扫描护照或其他国际旅行文件的信息页、有效签证文件页以及外籍婴儿的出生证明。

2.Send an email: Send the scanned documents to the online email box of the Exit and Entry Administration Bureau of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau for processing foreigner visas and residence permits.

2.发送电子邮件：将扫描的文件发送至北京市公安局出入境管理局处理外国人签证和居留许可的在线邮箱。

3.Await the review resultsThe Exit and Entry Administration Bureau of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau will feedback the review results via email within 7 working days after receiving the email. After the review is approved, the online registration procedures will be completed.

3.等待审核结果：北京市公安局出入境管理局将在收到电子邮件后的7个工作日内通过电子邮件反馈审核结果。审核通过后，将完成在线登记程序。
