张臻，1956年8月出生，江苏（苏州）太仓人。斋号柳波居。大专学历。自幼开始习字。所写书法功底深厚，技艺娴熟。其作品线条爽利劲健，清晰干净，既师法于古的沉厚笔韵，亦有不囿于旧的清新洒意，给人以愉悦的享受和感染力，具有较高的艺术价值，欣赏价值，收藏价值。
