蓝色孕育了地球文明，

也是这个星球的底色。

我们不能想象，

如果没了海洋，

地球会变成什么模样，

人类会变成怎样。

地球上的面积71%被海洋覆盖，

地球上的氧气，有50%来自海洋，

海洋提供了淡水的循环和运动，

海洋为人类提供了大量的蛋白质资源，

海洋是生命的起源，

是地球文明的摇篮。

我们总认为海洋的资源取之不尽，

我们总认为海洋的能量取之不竭，

人类的欲望比海洋更大

蓝色的海洋已经被人类的活动伤害，

海水变暖、酸度增加、冰川融化、白色污染……

海洋在哭泣。

我们的命运与海洋紧密相连，

海洋是地球生命的起源，

伤害海洋，

就是伤害我们自己的家园。

请尽快行动起来，如果我们不保护海洋，

海洋就不能再保护我们。

I use watercolor to create. When my teachermentioned the harm of rising water level to us, I thought that if human beingsdo not protect the environment, then our earth will become worse and worse, andthe living environment of human beings will change. Drawing onHokusai's 19th century Ukiyo-e, the waves of Kanagawa surf take up most of thespace, like a giant invisible hand, swalping everything in sight.   I deeply felt that human beings and animalsare very small in front of nature.   Thestrong contrast can be reflected not only in the composition of the picture,but also in the strong contrast between the cold water waves and back darkfactories , the blue wave, melting ice , polar bear in the foreground and thefiery sky in the background, which forms a visual effect of dual impact fromcolor and graphics.   It stronglyexpresses the urgency of environmental protection.

Because of our manufacturingand production, the temperature has risen, the glaciers have melted, and therubbish made by humans, animals are facing danger to their lives and arefighting against humans and nature. Polar bears are a good example. Their homesare glaciers. Most of the glaciers have melted now, making them not onlydifficult to hunt, but also to lose their habitat. Some polar bears eat theircubs to satisfy their hunger because of excessive hunger. Part of the chaos ofnature is caused by us humans, and it is our responsibility to change it.

Many selfishbehaviors of humans have affected the health of the ocean, leading to risingwater levels.  It also jeopardizes theliving conditions of many animals, such as global warming, melting glaciers,and rising water levels, making Arctic animals unable to survive normally.  These are all caused by human activities suchas littering, killing animals, and excreting waste water and smoke.  The animals were extremely angry and wantedto stop the actions of human beings, but human beings still insisted on goingtheir own way. The animals were extremely desperate and the environment wasgradually deteriorating.  But humanbeings can make choices. We can choose to go our own way, or we can choose touse actions to improve the environment. The beautiful world is right in front of us, but we need to make goodchoices.

The Withered

As the sealevel rises around the globe, the risks and potential dangers carretedalongside shifts closer and closer to our daily lives. Scientists and manyspecialistis have envisioned and projected the potential effects and sightsthat would respectively make their “entrances” to the scene and stage we livein. In this ornament/ figure, I chose to recreate a refurbished and moisty roomthat follows the numerous descriptions and visions I’ve read online. The wallswere intentionally made green, dilapedated, and nasty with watercolor paintsand gridded;d the floors covered with sand. The center of attention for this“room” is the pearl white instrument located dead center in the room. I used aresin and clay polymer to mold this so-called bathtub and metallic wire forstructural support. The bold ends and open holes were intentional as it addsmore suspense and a tiresome and sullen feel to the room. Some smallpieces of plant remnents and ornaments scatter the room and dried glue dripsdown from the walls. With this piece, I wish to raise the awareness of thepotential dangers of rising sea levels as it indeed will affect our lives inthe near future.

I hope that in the future, our planet will get better andbetter, not just the environment in which we humans live. The environment inwhich all species live has become more and more beautiful!

In my paintings, I hope to portray the blue of the sea asboundless and profound as possible. Fishes shuttle freely in groups on thebottom of the sea, and they belong to nature. The earth belongs to the mostbeautiful blue.

In a geography, my teacher told methat due to global warming and rising water levels, many cities and regionswill no longer exist. This has caused me to think that if the sea levelcontinues to rise, one day, human beings will lose their homes for survival,and many civilizations will disappear forever. So I drew this picture.

In the painting, the ecological balance istransformed into an unbalanced libra. The left plate sinks slightly, and thereis a pearl representing money and desire in the plate; the right plate tiltsslightly upward, and in the plate is a candle representing hope and warmth. Themonster dragons around represent malicious people. The climate crisis is aproblem for all mankind. People have become more and more aware of theimportance of climate. I will also do my best to promote the consequences ofrising water levels to mymates, and do my best to protect our homes.

Freedom

Now that the Eastern Hemisphere is entering summer and the climate is hot, many people like to go to the beach for vacation and enjoy the good time in the ocean. People cannot live without all industrialized products such as air conditioners and automobiles. The increase in carbon dioxide has led to the greenhouse effect and the melting of polar glaciers.

Seeing this heart-wrenching phenomenon, as a student, I have to think about it. So I created this work, the purpose is to warn mankind: beware of what you do!

The ocean is vast and mysterious, which makes me yearn for and makes me feel perilous. Teachers and news media often say that global warming causes sea levels to rise, which will inundate some countries, such as the Maldives. Perhaps it was to avoid disaster, that persistence and belief inspired me to complete the work.

My work depicts when a disaster strikes, lightning flashes, squally winds, and sea waves are surging. The beautiful homes that mankind depend on for survival are in chaos, flooded buildings, ships...this is the tomb of mankind.

The sea level rose rapidly and was about to submerge the Statue of Liberty. She still stretched out her hands to guide people. The hands of the disaster-stricken humans struggled desperately at the last moment of despair and were unable to get rid of it. Humans suffered from their own evil consequences... This is my thinking about the future, and it is also a nightmare for all mankind!

I call on all mankind to actively raise awareness of environmental protection and protect our marine environment from now on. As a student, I would like to call on all mankind to protect the environment from myself and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. I believe that our ocean will be blue and beautiful in the future!

《n + 1 erosion》

This work is called "n + 1erosion" and is painted by procreate. Because I learned the knowledge ofwater rising and had deep thinking, which inspired my creation. Water rising isa phenomenon of global warming. It will cause land inundation, seawaterintrusion, coastline change, and eventually the whole earth will be covered bywater, and everything will no longer exist. This is a great threat to mankind,but without us, the earth will still be an extraordinary existence.In thispainting, I use fault art and gray effect to show the appearance of creaturesleaving the earth after the water rising.In the middle is the beautiful earth.The symbol on the earth is the Mobius belt, which was discovered by Germanmathematicians Mobius and John listin in 1858. It is a peculiar two-dimensionalsingle-sided ring structure, It reduces the curved surface of a plane from twoto one, which has the meaning of cycle. What I use this symbol to convey isthat if we don't do anything and let it develop, then in the near future, thesea will submerge the earth, and all creatures, including you and me, will nolonger be on the earth. After the sea and land changes, the new civilizationwill start from scratch again, rebuild civilization, and you and I will appear,experience, end, create civilization from scratch again, and continue to cycle.

My art teacher Yuan told me that becausethe temperature in Antarctica has risen, penguins have become mud penguins.Many marine animals are becoming extinct. I am very sad. I wonder if it ispossible to create a snowfall machine to lower the temperature and make TheAntarctic icebergs will no longer melt, the water level will no longer rise,and animals and humans can be protected! Marine pollution is pollution caused byhumans destroying the marine ecosystem and causing harmful substances to enterthe marine environment. Part of the marine garbage stays on the beach, and somecan float on the sea surface or sink into the seabed. Correctly understandingthe source of marine debris and reducing the amount of marine debris from thesource will help reduce the impact of marine debris on the marine ecologicalenvironment.
