盛夏时节，骄阳似火，碧空如洗。行至梅山深处，淌过寂静的麻溪，走过纵横交错的田埂，来到的便是安化县江南镇洞市村。

步入村落，天幕之下的木板瓦房透着梅山古味。四角飞檐似要腾空扑朔，相比之下，村民劈伐杉树而成的门柱显得沉稳许多，刚毅木讷地杵在那儿，周身斑驳的桐油漆拒绝了现代人的抚摸。万籁俱寂之中，隐隐迢迢，似有古时商队铃响。行路愈陡，铃声愈发清晰。

流水潺潺，风雨廊桥横跨其间，脊兽栉风沐雨，予光阴以守望；漆木历经风霜，不曾改其朱颜。桥下白鸭，掌拨清波，彰示着古村的岁月静好，桥中农人，凭栏而卧，享受着农忙的片刻闲暇。漫步其中，寻得梁间斑斑点点，几行陈迹，也可谓徜游古村的独特体验。（
