空气开关,作为现代家庭和工业用电中不可或缺的保护设备,默默守护着我们的用电安全。它外观通常为长方体,由操作手柄、接线端子、外壳等部分组成,在配电箱里整齐排列,十分常见。
空气开关的工作原理基于电磁感应和热效应。当电路正常运行时,通过的电流在其额定范围内,产生的电磁力和热效应都不足以触发开关动作。一旦电路发生过载,电流增大,发热元件产生过多热量,双金属片受热弯曲,推动脱扣机构,使开关跳闸切断电路;若是短路故障,瞬间产生的强大电流会让电磁脱扣器迅速动作,快速切断电路。
正因有这样的工作机制,空气开关能有效避免因电流异常引发的电气火灾、设备损坏等危险,为我们的生活和生产提供可靠的用电保障。
