9月5日上午，国家主席习近平在北京人民大会堂出席中非合作论坛北京峰会开幕式并发表主旨讲话时指出，非洲有句谚语“同路人才是真朋友”。现代化道路上一个都不能少，一国都不能掉队。埃塞俄比亚航空集团中国区总经理谷蔼明(AmanWoleGurmu)向中新社中新网记者表示，这一点在这个时代非常有意义。他认为，现代化是每个企业和国家发展的关键和重要途径，而他在中国工作生活的时候，就为中国现代化的程度震撼。
