A village doctor who asked not to be named: excitement and medical responsibility

In a far-off countryside, there was a doctor over half a hundred years old. From the age of twenty, he had embarked on the journey of saving lives and comforting the suffering of countless patients with a warm and determined hand. At the age of twenty-six, he resolutely opened the village health clinic, since then, this small health clinic has become the guardian of the villagers' health. Over the decades, he experienced numerous allergies, drug side reactions, poisonings, and acupuncture accidents, each of which was a life-saving baptism that allowed him to understand more deeply the meaning of "the compassion of the healer."

The excitement of allergic events

In his practice as a doctor, drug allergies were one of the most common emergencies he encountered. Penicillin, ammonia penicillin, cephalosporine, cephalecloprolin... These seemingly ordinary drugs can act as a time bomb in some patients, causing severe allergic reactions if they are accidental. He once witnessed a patient who suddenly developed allergies, shortness of breath and paleness after 40 minutes of intravenous penicillin. At this critical moment, he responded quickly, hypodermically injected adrenal gland, and finally snatched the patient from the hands of death. Similar situations also occurred in allergic patients such as penicillin and cephalosporine, and each rescue frightened him, but also strengthened his cautious work style.

In addition to injections, oral medications also have an allergy risk. The compounded neomycin, a common antibacterial drug, caused one patient to develop a rapid rash all over his body and itchy enough. In the face of the patient's suffering, he did not hesitate to inject the patient with sodium selenide and pyrimidine, and finally turned the patient to safety. Each of these allergies made him realize that while drugs can cure and save people, they can also be a life-saving weapon.

The harsh lessons of drug side effects and poisoning

In addition to the allergies, the side effects and toxic effects of the medication also upset him. Psychiatric symptoms caused by chloramphenicol, numbness of the scalp caused by amoxicillin, psychiatric abnormalities caused by indomethacin... The side effects of these drugs made him feel the complexity and difficulty of medical work. He knows that every drug has its own unique properties and side effects, and doctors must be fully aware of and careful in their use to ensure patient safety.

In the field of traditional Chinese medicine, the risk of drug poisoning cannot be ignored. The use of toxic Chinese medicines such as Shengchuan u and Shengcao u can trigger a serious poisoning reaction at the slightest inadvertence. He had witnessed a patient who was in a critical condition because of the numbness and tightness of his body caused by the use of Saikawa umbrella wine. At this critical juncture, he quickly injected the patient with atope and finally saved him from a critical condition. The incident made him acutely aware that while traditional Chinese medicine is good, there is also a risk of poisoning, and doctors must strictly control the dosages and contraindications to ensure the safety of patients' lives.

Acupuncture was unexpectedly exciting

As a primary doctor, acupuncture was one of his usual treatments. However, acupuncture also carries unexpected risks. Acupuncture is one of the most common accidents during acupuncture. In the face of a sudden fainting of the patient, he always starts the acupuncture quickly, and leaves the patient on a flat bed. He generally recovers quickly. However, an acupuncture accident has left him feeling shaky. During the intense stimulation of the central acupuncture, the patient suddenly turned and sat up, gasping for air, and the heart rate accelerated. In the face of this sudden change, he kept calm and kept the patient in his posture. After three or four minutes, the patient finally relieved. The incident made him realize that acupuncture, as good as it is, also requires caution, and a slight mistake can lead to serious consequences.

Doctors are very conscientious and need to be cautious at all times.

Decades of practice have made him acutely aware that medical work is a high-risk and highly responsible profession. Every rescue, every treatment requires him to be careful and attentive. He knows that every decision he makes may have a bearing on the patient's life. As a result, he has always maintained a high level of responsibility and professionalism and is always ready to respond to various emergencies.

He often said, "There are dangers at work, and caution is always necessary!" This statement is not only a summary of his own medical journey, but also an earnest advice to all medical personnel. In this field of healthcare, which is full of unknowns and risks, every healthcare professional needs to remain vigilant and cautious at all times to ensure the safety of patients.

The medical career of this grassroots doctor was filled with exciting moments and painful lessons. However, it was these experiences that made him more committed to his beliefs and pursuits. He knows that as a doctor, his mission is to save the lives of the wounded and protect the health. No matter how many difficulties and challenges he faces, he will not hesitate to step forward and use his hands and wisdom to protect the lives of patients.
