霜降至，寒风起。又一年的秋天接近尾声，而遍地霜华就是最盛大的告别。
霜降（Frost’s Descent）是二十四节气中的第十八个节气，秋季的最后一个节气。
Frost’s Descent (Shuang Jiang) is the eighteenth solar term in theChinese traditional24 solar terms,It is the last solar term in autumn.
霜降通常是在每年的10月23日到10月24日，这个时候太阳直射点到达天文经度210度。
"Frost's Descent" usually occurring on October 23 or 24 each year, when the sun reaches the celestial longitude of 210 degrees.
此时天气已经变得寒冷，大地开始有霜。
At this time, the weather had turned cold and frost is beginning to appear on the ground.
一候豺乃祭兽
The first pentad: jackals making offerings of the beasts.
意思是此节气中豺狼开始捕获猎物，以兽祭天。
二候草木黄落
The second pentad: the plants turning yellow and shedding leaves.
此时，树叶都枯黄掉落了。
三候蛰虫咸俯
The last pentad: all insects going dormant.
蜇虫全在洞中不动不食，垂下头来进入冬眠状态。
吃柿子

霜降时节，正值柿子收获，所以很多地方也有霜降吃红柿的习俗。
吃苹果

霜降后的苹果糖度高，果肉也会变得更脆。
吃梨

霜降期的另一种推荐水果是梨子。吃梨可促进体液分泌（利尿），清热化痰。
吃板栗
