wear、dress、get on、have on和put on五个词语都可作“穿上(服)”解。
1.wear
The girl is wearing a new coat.
These shoes will wear at least a year. This sweater has worn thin at the elbows,这件毛衣的肘部已穿薄了。This fabric did not wear well.

I don’t know what dress to put on. Put on the coat. It is cold outside.
3. dress
Don’t come in!I’m dressing. Every afternoon she dresses up and goes out.

Wait a minute-I’m just dressing the baby.(=I’m helping the baby to put on his clothes.) She always dresses in black.(=She always wears black.)

It’s quite an informal gathering;you needn’t dress up for it. He dressed up in his Sunday clothes.
She never wears a hat. The girl is wearing a bracelet.
She dresses her hair with flowers. You needn't put on your gloves.

She dresses the baby quickly in cold mornings.
She wears black since her husband died. He put on his
jacket.

Get your clothes on;hurry up!穿上你的衣服,快点!I’ll get my things on and we’ll go for a short walk.
He had a beautiful new suit on. They took a picture of the baby when he had nothing on孩子光着身子时,他们为他拍了张照片。
