心宽了，烦恼自然就少了，日子自然就顺了，人生也会圆融自在了。
When the heart is wide, there will be fewer troubles, life will naturally go smoothly, and life will be smooth and comfortable.
清代有两位杰出的画家，一个是金冬心，另一个是王铮。
There were two outstanding painters in the Qing Dynasty, one was Jin Dongxin and the other was Wang Zheng.
金冬心的画画技艺高超，待人谦和宽容，所以人们都十分钦佩他。
Jin Dongxin's painting skills are superb, and he is humble and tolerant towards others, so people greatly admire him.
而王铮就很见不得金冬心，只要见到金冬心的画作，总要出言诋毁一番。有时候，甚至在人多的集市，王铮都要对金冬心的画作指指点点。
But Wang Zheng couldn't see Jin Dongxin very well. Whenever he saw Jin Dongxin's paintings, he would always speak out and slander her. Sometimes, even in crowded markets, Wang Zheng would point fingers at Jin Dongxin's paintings.
金冬心却不以为然，也不恼怒，只是默默收起画作转身回家。
Jin Dongxin didn't take it seriously, nor did she get angry. She just silently put away her painting and turned around to go home.
有一次，众人被一位朋友请去家中赴宴，金、王也在其中。酒过三巡，有人提议以柳絮为题作诗。
Once, a friend invited everyone to their home for a banquet, and Jin and Wang were among them. After three rounds of drinking, someone suggested writing a poem about willow catkins.
王铮想要争先，就脱口而出：“飞来柳絮片片红”。众人听了，愕然相顾。柳絮是白色，本是常识，王铮却说出这么没有常识的句子。话说出口，王铮顿时酒醒，羞愧不已。
Wang Zheng wanted to compete, so he blurted out, 'Flying willow catkins are red.'. Everyone listened and looked at each other in surprise. Willow catkins are white, which is common sense, but Wang Zheng said such a sentence without common sense. Speaking of which, Wang Zheng suddenly woke up drunk and felt ashamed.
这时，金冬心又对一句：“夕阳返照桃花渡”。三月桃花渡，在夕阳的映照之下，自然变成红色。
At this moment, Jin Dongxin said again, 'The sunset shines back on the Peach Blossom Ferry.'. In March, Peach Blossom Ferry naturally turns red under the reflection of the sunset.
这句巧妙地呼应了王铮那句诗的意境，更加化解了王铮的尴尬。众人纷纷称赞，王铮羞愧难当，从此不再诋毁金冬心。
This sentence cleverly echoes the artistic conception of Wang Zheng's poem and further resolves his embarrassment. Everyone praised him one after another, and Wang Zheng felt ashamed and no longer slandered Jin Dongxin.
做人，心量越大，成就也会越大。心底无私天地宽，心有海量万事容。
